The situation is obviously changing constantly and we are therefore reviewing things on a daily basis in order to comply with guidelines and to ensure the health and wellbeing of our customers and employees.

Consequently, I am writing to advise you that our office is now closed to the general public. This means that communication for the time being will be solely via telephone or email.

The office is closed but we have teams working remotely, available for calls between 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday.

I am an international student and may have to return to my home country earlier than planned, what can I do about my tenancy? OR I am not returning to Uni, what can I do about my tenancy?

  • Whilst we appreciate the position you are in, if you have signed a contract you are legally bound into the contract, and you are liable for rent payments.

I am self-isolating in the property, do I need to make you aware?

  • Yes please, we can then avoid coming to your property and disturbing you.

I am a landlord, how will this affect the management of my property?

  • Should a decision be made to shut the office, we will make arrangements so that our phone lines remain open and emails will still be getting dealt with as usual.
  • Our team are committed to providing the same level of service that you would usually experience from us, even if we are working from home.
  • Before visiting the office, we recommend you contact us to find out if we are still open, or to make alternative arrangements if not.

I am a contractor, can I still carry out works at properties?

  • Yes, our tenants should make us or you aware that they are self isolating in a property.
  • We would recommend that you follow Government advice and taken any necessary precautions.

I am a tenant, can I still report routine maintenance?

  • Yes, you can still use Property File to report maintenance issues as usual.
  • Please bear in mind that only urgent jobs may get completed at the moment, and non-emergency jobs would be dealt with in due course.
